DMCA / Copyright Notice

Last updated: 1 September 2026

Telebritain respects the intellectual property rights of others and expects users of the Service to do the same. This policy explains how rights holders can report content they believe infringes their copyright, and how affected users can respond to a takedown.

Before you submit a notice

A DMCA notice is a legal document. Only submit one if you are the copyright owner or authorised to act on their behalf, and you have a good faith belief that the material is infringing.

1. How to Submit a Copyright Notice

If you believe content available through the Service infringes your copyright, send a written notice to [email protected] that includes:

  1. A description of the copyrighted work you claim has been infringed;
  2. Identification of the specific material you believe is infringing, and information reasonably sufficient to locate it (such as a channel name, timestamp, or URL);
  3. Your contact information, including name, address, telephone number and email address;
  4. A statement that you have a good faith belief that the use of the material is not authorised by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law;
  5. A statement, made under penalty of perjury, that the information in the notice is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or authorised to act on their behalf;
  6. Your physical or electronic signature.

Notices that don’t include this information may not be actioned. We aim to review valid notices and respond within a reasonable timeframe.

2. What Happens After a Notice Is Received

Upon receiving a valid notice, we will review the claim and take appropriate action, which may include removing or disabling access to the material identified. We will make reasonable efforts to notify the affected user where appropriate.

3. Counter-Notification

If you believe material was removed or disabled as a result of a mistake or misidentification, you may submit a counter-notice to [email protected] that includes:

  1. Identification of the material that was removed and its location before removal;
  2. A statement, made under penalty of perjury, that you have a good faith belief the material was removed as a result of mistake or misidentification;
  3. Your name, address and telephone number;
  4. A statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the relevant courts and will accept service of process from the party who submitted the original notice;
  5. Your physical or electronic signature.

4. Repeat Infringers

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access for users who are found to be repeat infringers of third-party intellectual property rights.

5. No Legal Advice

This page is provided as a general policy and does not constitute legal advice. If you are unsure whether your notice or counter-notice meets legal requirements, consider seeking independent legal advice before submitting one.
